Until we are told otherwise, we will aim to keep the office running and courses being
delivered. We have been monitoring the government advice daily and have engaged in talks
regularly with our medical advisor.
We feel that most of the courses delivered by BLS are for many of our clients “essential”
courses and are booked for compliance purposes and for this reason which shall continue to
operate as normal.

We would like to reassure all clients that our policy and procedures around the cleanliness
of our Resuscitation Manikins already comply with latest guidance issued from Resuscitation
Council UK. We are taking in additional steps during the training to avoid as much non-
essential contact as we can but, still meeting the criteria for assessment of the course and of
course encouraging hand washing steps at regular intervals.
We would also ask that anyone who has any of the symptoms of COVID-19 as advertised by
the government not to attend our courses as you will be refused entry.
We shall now also be asking clients to consider the number of learners on courses and the
size of the classroom, by reducing the numbers will allow more space in rooms to try to
adhere to the government’s 2 metre separation recommendation. We would encourage
clients to consider the room size again to ensure we can achieve the above

We have had a number of cancellations due to concerns over the COVID-19. We will happily
transfer bookings for anyone in a position of self -isolation however for companies that have
now recommended home working or people who have general reservations, unfortunately
we not in a position to accept financial loss so our terms and conditions for cancellation will
be enforced. For open course bookings that have been invoiced due to cancellation, your
booking can be transferred onto another course later in the year.

If you have any concerns or question please do get in touch with us.
